La Grande Bastide

La Grande Bastide finds its foundations in the 14th century. It has been reworked over time, during the Renaissance first, occasionally until 1842 and entirely restored a few years ago. Thus, you will discover and admire, at the turn of a corridor or a staircase, the characteristic of typical decorations of these periods, such as a small chapel exposing part of its original frieze, magnificent stone fireplaces, or even ceilings "à la française"...

In this charming and exceptional environment, La Grande Bastide has managed to keep its authenticity by preserving, in particular, furniture from past centuries. Completely renovated and redesigned for a pleasant welcome, managed in large part by a home automation system, it is equipped, among other things, with stone or terracotta tiles' heating and refreshing floors, a lift, internet access, wifi and Sonos speakers in all rooms.
The Living Areas
The Ground Floor
In la Grande Bastide you will find a substantial bright living room, soothing atmosphere, with large sofas arranged in front of a beautiful stone fireplace, as well as a billiard table to accompany your moments of sharing and conviviality. You also dispose of a cosy dining room with its imposing solid elm table communicating with a functional kitchen equipped with Lacanche oven and stoves and a magnificent chimney plate from the early 17th Century.
The Bedrooms
La Grande Bastide offers spacious and comfortable rooms, all named after a grape variety which some of them are grown on the estate. Each room is unique and decorated with careful attention, ensuring every detail, both inside and out. Each room also has its own bathroom, seven of them with a bath-tub, and a large storage space (wardrobe or dressing room). High quality bed linen and towels are provided and one change every week.
First Floor Ensuite
The entire first floor, more than 150m2, is reserved for the Mathilde suite. It is accessible by stairs or by lift. It has its own ensuite bathroom equipped with a balneotherapy bath and a massage shower, two separate toilets, a large dressing room and an adjoining boudoir which has been arranged to accommodate a baby cot. The bedroom has a TV screen connected with a Sonos sound system opposite the king-size bed.
Second Floor
The Cabernet room is accessible by a magnificent stone spiral staircase. The Grenache and Syrah rooms are communicating. These three bedrooms are each equipped with a king-size bed, their own bathroom with separate WC, and a wardrobe.
La Suite Viognier which is preceded by a living room, has four single beds, a bathroom with separate WC and wardrobes. The Vermentino room is equipped with a single bed and has an ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet. Four of these five bedrooms on this floor can be accessed by a second spiral staircase or the lift.

Recreational areas
For your entertainment, La Grande Bastide offers in addition to a lounge reserved for watching TV, furnished with three sofas, a rotonde dining-room in the pigeonnier (old pigeon house), ideal place to play card games. In the basement, you have a cinema room beautifully set up in the old converted sheep pens. You will also find in this area, a lounge-bar with a cozy chic atmosphere perfect for calm and relaxing moments. And even for more pleasure, La Grande Bastide puts at your disposal a babyfoot in the patio under the arches.

To satisfy your desire for sport and to relieve the pressure, we offer top of the range cardio-training and work out equipment. A treadmill, stair stepper, rowing machine and elliptical bike, all connected, are available at any time of day .
